We built Modex to do exterior work the way good contractors used to.
I started this business after years in the roofing industry, tired of watching corner-cutting contractors take advantage of homeowners who didn't know what to look for — so we published a Minnesota roofing contractor credential checklist homeowners can use on any quote. I wanted to build something different — a contractor where the work was done right because that's how we operate, not because someone was watching.
Today we install roofing, siding, windows, and full storm restoration across the Minneapolis metro. Lindsey runs the operational side of the business. I lead sales, marketing, and customer relationships. We pull permits before we start. We send a written quote within 48 hours. We never waive insurance deductibles. We register every warranty in your name.
