How does the instant roof estimate work?
You type your address. We read the roof's area and pitch from aerial imagery, add a standard waste allowance, and multiply by the same installed price per square foot we publish on our cost pages — $5.50 to $11 for architectural asphalt, $13 to $20 for stone-coated steel, $14 to $22 for standing seam. You see a range by material in about ten seconds, with no phone call.
How accurate is an instant roof estimate?
It is a range, not a quote. Aerial measurement is typically within 15 percent of the real roof. Tear-off layers, decking repairs, chimney and skylight flashing, and steep or cut-up roofs move the number. The free inspection turns the range into a written line-item quote within 48 hours.
